description: "At Energeticon in Alsdorf, you can learn about the development of our energy supply in a vivid way. The museum opened in 2014 and combines the history of mining with a look at renewable forms of energy. During the tour, you will discover the tension between former fossil resources and modern technologies. The exhibition shows how wind and sun have gradually become part of our everyday lives. Historical elements and interactive presentations create an approach that both imparts knowledge and encourages reflection on future energy issues. The visit takes you through a piece of regional industrial culture and, at the same time, into the future of energy."
