description: "In front of the Schwimmhalle Ost swimming pool, you will encounter the Laufenden Kinder (Running Children), a fountain dating from 1973 and designed by sculptor Bonifatius Stirnberg. The three bronze figures are holding hands and appear to be running through the water in the middle of their game. Their posture is reminiscent of carefree childhood moments, which seem to be captured here. The scene appears lively, almost as if you could hear the children laughing at any moment. On St. Josef's Square, the fountain offers a quiet glimpse of the joy of movement and lightness that are often lost in everyday life. "
