description: "Nestled between tall trees and dense greenery, the playground at Veltmanplatz is like a little retreat in the middle of the city. Children will find a carousel, swings and other equipment that encourages them to get active, while the shade of the old trees creates islands of calm. The proximity to the pond gives the square a special atmosphere and invites visitors to let their gaze wander over the water. If you like, you can bring a small picnic and use the benches in the green to take a break. This creates a place where children's play and the serenity of nature come together in a pleasant way."
