Children’s Costume Parade

Every year, the Children's Costume Parade winds its way through the streets of Aachen on “Tulip Sunday”. This is the day on which the little Öcher carnival revellers take over the regiment in the city. The troops on foot and the floats of the carnival clubs thrill the spectators with the fair sweets (they are thrown into the crowds) and music. The special float at the end of the parade is that of the reigning Fairytale Prince.
