Every year on Tulip Sunday, the children's costume parade winds its way through the streets of Aachen. On this day, the little Öcher carnivalists take over the regiment in the city. Troupes and floats from the carnival clubs delight the spectators with camels (sweets that are thrown) and music. The special finale of the procession is the float of the reigning fairytale prince.
