Singer Elsa Johanna Mohr and guitarist Flávio Nunes dedicate themselves to the colorful diversity of Brazilian music with well-known Brazilian classics such as “Carinhoso” and “Tempo de Amor” as well as their own compositions, thus creating a broad overview of a culturally rich and beautiful country. Elsa Johanna Mohr lived in Brazil for 1 1/2 years and studied Portuguese literature in Munich and jazz singing in Osnabrück. She writes her songs in Portuguese, seamlessly joining the ranks of Brazilian classics. Five years ago, Mohr met guitarist Flávio Nunes, originally from São Paulo, in Düsseldorf. Since then, the two have been connected by a shared musical language with which they express the Brazilian zest for life and the well-known longing of Brazilians.
