Fonte Vivace
Fonte Vivace takes place in Aachen in spring, when historical sounds fill churches, halls and unusual venues. The early music festival is dedicated to works from the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque and combines them with a lively, historically informed performance practice. International ensembles, award-winning newcomers and regional musicians bring new life to musical sources from past centuries. The name says it all: Fonte vivace stands for the creative power of historical music, which can be heard in ever new colors in Aachen and the region. The result is a festival that arouses curiosity, deepens knowledge and creates special concert experiences.
