The adventure begins at Gillrath station, where children can transform themselves into scary witches, funny ghosts, or brave vampires at the face painting stand – making the journey twice as exciting. With the spookily decorated steam locomotive leading the way, the train then sets off on a grand tour of discovery towards Schierwaldenrath. Along the way, mysterious surprises make children's eyes light up: at the Stahe stop, a witch boards the train and delights passengers with small gifts, and in Gelindchen, mysterious figures await, bringing the train and its passengers to a standstill.
In Schierwaldenrath, the carriage hall is transformed into an enchanted castle full of fun and wonder. The welcome by the host, the great wizard, a colorful light show, and—for the very brave—the “dance with the vampires” make the stay an unforgettable experience. After about an hour, the train returns to Gillrath—with many stories in tow that will not be forgotten anytime soon.
