Daniel, in his mid-30s, is single again - and completely overwhelmed. He has always tried to be a “good guy”: understanding, soft, adaptable. To get over his heartache, he visits a friend who works as an entertainer in Turkey. At the hotel, Daniel meets the fun-loving Aylin from Cologne. The vacation flirtation quickly turns serious. Back in Germany, he meets Aylin's extended Turkish family with all their temperament, warmth and expectations. And before he knows it, his life is turned upside down. Between misunderstandings and cultural differences, between “macho” and “wimp”, Daniel searches for his place.
