REBOUND - a room in motion

The work can only be fully appreciated from a certain perspective. It addresses a change of perspective - visually, spatially and socially.

REBOUND is an artistic plea for the creative use of vacant spaces, for making so-called “non-places” visible and for new, temporary spaces for art and culture in the middle of the city. Especially in a dynamic, young city like Aachen with around 60,000 students, there is a need for new impetus for public art and interim cultural use. The formerly commercially used building is an example of how much unused potential there is in urban space - and how art can contribute to rethinking and revitalizing this space.

A live performance with Aachen saxophonist Uli Jend and singer Anirahtak (aka Ulla Marks), who are developing a musical-performative piece especially for this evening, awaits you at the vernissage on May 24.
