Symphony concert "Völl Plaisir!"

Anno Schreier's aim in composing his “Sinfonia amorosa e giocosa” was to pick up on the supposedly light, relaxed tone of Mozart's early symphonies, and perhaps also his humor. Tchaikovsky also attempted to evoke the spirit of a bygone era in his Variations on a Rococo Theme, whose soloist is the multi-award-winning cellist Gabriel Schwabe. Beethoven's “Eroica”, which reflects his initial fascination with the rebellious Napoleon, breathes a revolutionary spirit.
