Trio Wellcaru – „Zingarissimo“

Siblings Matthias and Maria Well came into contact with Hungarian folk music at an early age through their grandfather. The love of Romnja and Roma music, which has also gone down in music history under the name “gypsy music”, has been passed down in their family for generations. Vladislav Cojocaru comes from Moldova and complements the sibling duo congenially on the accordion. The trio has already been invited to perform at numerous festivals, including the Gezeitenfestival and the Schleswig Holstein Musikfestival.

They reinterpret well-known pieces with great joy and finesse, using all facets of their instruments in a virtuoso manner and thus manage to inspire their audience with temperament, groove and melancholy.
