Continium - Discovery Center

At the Continium Discovery Centre in Kerkrade, you can immerse yourself in an environment that shows how closely our everyday lives are linked to technology, science and human history. The museum is one of the largest science and technology centres in the south of the Netherlands and invites visitors to explore how things work. Interactive stations convey knowledge in a playful way and show how innovations from the past to the present have shaped our world. Topics include developments in industry and research as well as sustainable issues for the future. A Time Warp Theatre, a 3D cinema, offers the opportunity to fly through time – from the Big Bang to predictions of the future. Among other things, visitors can also fight robots, shop in the shop of the future and explore the human body with the help of the robot surgeon.
