...for orthopaedic, accident surgery, neurological and rheumatological rehabilitation in Aachen-Burtscheid and has a long history: the Romans already used the hottest spring in Central Europe, at 72 degrees Celsius, more than 2000 years ago. The Schwertbad was first mentioned by name in 1389. This long-standing tradition has made it known far beyond the borders of Aachen as Germany's oldest bathhouse, especially because of its thermal baths. Since 1985, people have been accompanied on their very personal paths to health and well-being in this specialist clinic for rehabilitation.
