Photo exhibition “Around the CHIO Aachen” with spectacular, amusing, and curious photos from Aachen's equestrian tournaments over the last 100 years.

The exhibition, created in collaboration with the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein Museum, looks back on an incomparable success story. Unique photographic documents show international sport as it can be experienced at the world's largest equestrian event – high-class, emotional, pure aesthetics in the interaction between humans and animals, including legends of success. As historical documents, they also show the temporality of the tournaments in the close intertwining of politics and sport.
