The Youth Symphony Orchestra is a joint cooperation between the Aachen Symphony Orchestra and the Music School of the City of Aachen and brings together around 50 young musicians from the region.
Under the direction of Alexander Scherf, the orchestra members present a varied program with works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Maurizio Cazzati, Carl Ditters von Dittersdorf, Antonín Dvořák and Aram Khachaturian. Pia Vohn (trumpet) and Haowen Li (double bass) will perform as soloist and soloist, demonstrating their skills in two extraordinary concert pieces.
