Over the past few months, more than 200 children from the city and city-region of Aachen have experimented with different materials, collected ideas, painted and designed. Everything that has been created in the primary school courses of the Aachen Model on the theme Through the Flower - Happy Birthday, Peter Ludwig! is presented in a multifaceted exhibition. This year, Peter Ludwig, who together with his wife Irene Ludwig built up one of the most important art collections, would have been 100 years old. With fantastic plants and the greatest possible variety imaginable, the children congratulate him together through the flower.
This year, five works of art were selected from all the entries by a jury of six. They will be awarded the 16th Children's Art Prize on Sunday, 29.06.2025.
