Lenny, almost 30, lives a carefree life without a job. As the son of a renowned heart specialist, he squanders his father’s money—until he drives a car into the family pool while drunk. To make amends, his father forces him to take care of one of his patients: Daniel, a 15-year-old with a terminal illness. The teenager was born with a severe heart defect and has already undergone countless surgeries. Although the two are so different, their initial obligation to each other blossoms into a deep friendship. Together, they create a list of things Daniel wants to experience before his 16th birthday: a night in a 5-star hotel, a ride in a sports car, his first kiss, and seeing his mother happy again. Lenny does everything in his power to make these wishes come true. In the process, he and Daniel learn what it means to truly live life.
