Public guided tour of the cathedral

Centrally located in the heart of the old town, Aachen Cathedral is one of Aachen's top sights. Its architecture and furnishings still emphasize the importance and imposing nature of the building, which was commissioned by Charlemagne at the end of the 8th century. Tickets are available from 10 a.m. for the day in question at the Dominformation. Reservations are not possible, but you can buy your ticket online up to 12 hours before your visit.
Exception: Tickets for the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) must be purchased by Friday 2 pm at the latest.
The dates are online 8 weeks in advance.
