International Museum Day
International Museum Day is an annual event organized by the International Council of Museums (ICOM). The aim of Museum Day is to draw attention to museums in Germany and around the world and to invite visitors to discover the diversity of museums. The institutions open their doors to a wide range of exciting exhibitions and special insights into the world of museums. This year, some of the exhibitions are dedicated to the World Equestrian Games.
All of Aachen's municipal museums and the town hall are taking part in Museum Day, which is also an open day for everyone. They can be visited free of charge from 10 am to 6 pm. Further information can be found on the websites of the participating museums.
