Couven museum

Tip
Museum/Exhibition
The Couven Museum in the heart of Aachen offers an insight into the bourgeois lifestyle and living culture.
Since 1958, the "Haus Mohnheim" on the Hühnermarkt has been an exhibition venue for particularly impressive examples of upper middle-class living culture. Visitors are given an insight into rooms in various interior design styles from Rococo to Biedermeier. The Couven Museum is part of the Route Charlemagne and represents the theme of "living culture". The impressive ballroom can be hired for special celebrations such as weddings.

Special offer for groups: Visit the museum together in the morning
The Couven Museum is also open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for booked groups and by prior arrangement for public guided tours and courses.
