St. Stephanus

The cemetery church of St. Stephanus rises above Kornelimünster like a mountain church and has a long history that cannot be fully dated. What is certain is that the site was already built on in the 1st century AD, presumably with a Roman watchtower that monitored the ridge. Today, you will find a place here that radiates a special tranquillity despite its simplicity. Between old graveyards, the view opens up wide into the valley, while the small church building quietly tells the story of centuries.
