Aachen's history on the right and left banks of the Beverbach stream
This hike follows the Beverbach from its source in Grüne Eiche to where it flows into the Wurm in the Frankenberger Viertel. Along the way, you will learn about several mill sites and the role the Nellessen family played in Aachen's industrial history. The importance of cold air corridors in times of climate change is also explained.
The route is 9 km long and takes about 3 hours.
