Bat excursion
Bats lead a secret, nocturnal life and are rarely noticed. The building complex of the former “NS-Ordensburg Vogelsang” in the middle of the Eifel National Park is a paradise for 18 different bat species, some of which are endangered. Together with the experts from the Aachen, Düren, Euskirchen Bat Protection Working Group, you can get to know the flight acrobatics and “language” of these impressive survival artists!
The event is ideal for anyone who wants to learn more about endangered species and nocturnal wildlife. You will also receive valuable tips on how you can help protect bats yourself.
The meeting point is at the entrance to the Belgian Cultural Cinema, directly below the visitor parking lot.
Recommended: sturdy shoes, warm clothing and a flashlight.
