Finissage "The Joy of the Earth. Horses in Art"

As the equestrian world championships in Aachen come to a close, the exhibition “The Joy of the Earth? Horses in Art” at the Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum also reaches its final day. To mark the occasion, visitors can enjoy a varied family programme featuring creative activities, discovery games and opportunities to explore the exhibition in a playful way. The museum café offers refreshments and cakes throughout the day.

10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Family Activities
Families can take part in an exhibition rally, search games for younger children, colouring activities and a reading corner with horse-themed books. All activities are available throughout the day without registration.

10:30 a.m. & 2:30 p.m. | “Tell Me a Horse Story!”
In cooperation with the Aachen City Library, Michael Hippler reads exciting horse stories for children aged four and above. Participation is possible when accompanied by an adult.

3:00 p.m. | Public Guided Tour
The final public tour offers visitors one last opportunity to discover the exhibition together with experienced guides and gain deeper insights into the artworks.
