You will discover many hidden and inaccessible parts of the stream and learn some historical information about the surroundings and mysterious places as well as about the importance of the stream in the past and today. In spring, many beautiful wild plants can be admired at the edge of the stream.
The walk leads along the Johannisbach stream to where it joins the Aachen underground (Im Johannistal / corner of Pottmühlenweg).
The path is downhill and has a bumpy gravel surface in places, so good footwear is required.
