The Bläserphilharmonie Aachen was founded in 2013 by students of RWTH Aachen University and, despite its still young orchestral history, can already look back on great successes, such as twice winning a gold medal with distinction at the WMC in Kerkrade, the World Championships for Wind Music, in 2017 and 2022 and a second prize at the Flicorno d'Oro in Riva del Garda in 2026. The orchestra mainly plays original music from symphonic-concertante wind music.
