Tours and excursions organised by the vhs Aachen

Shortly after the opening of the Adult Education Centre Aachen in the early 1950s, trips lasting one or more days to destinations in the surrounding area and abroad were already being offered. This has resulted in decades of experience in the selection of travel destinations and professional support and implementation of our programmes, which are oriented towards the humanistic educational canon and the needs of the participants down to the last detail. The trips, tours and educational holidays are planned and accompanied by a team of qualified instructors. They know the destinations from their own experience and enable the participants to get to know the various places in every respect: the programme is characterised by regional studies, art and cultural history, information about current social situations and lifestyles and even the enjoyment of culinary specialities. vhs unterwegs is organised in cooperation with the adult education centres Nordkreis Aachen, Südkreis Aachen and Stolberg and is ideally supported by the Forum für Kunst und Kultur in der Euregio e.V. at Eurode Bahnhof.
