Campus Melaten

Campus Melaten shows how an area formerly used for agriculture has been transformed into a modern research environment. Since the 1970s, the area has been gradually developed by RWTH Aachen University and today forms the first stage of the campus project with several clusters in which different disciplines work closely together. Learning and living are very important here, because between RWTH buildings such as logistics, biomedicine and production technology, there are also restaurants, a sports studio, a daycare center, a hotel and seminar/training rooms. This versatility enables innovative and efficient research by professors and students.
