Super C

The Super C stands out as a striking centrepiece of RWTH Aachen University, visibly connecting the university with the city. Its transparent structure opens up to its surroundings, creating a place where study, research and international life come together. Its unique shape is based on a cross-section reminiscent of the letter C, which gives the building its name. Inside, a calm, almost gliding atmosphere is created, in which clear lines and wide areas guide the eye. The proximity to the old main building emphasises the contrast between history and contemporary architecture, while at the same time the Super C brings together students from all over the world as a service centre and creates open access to the university.
