Pferdelandschaftspark - Horse landscape park

Between Aachen, Herzogenrath and Kerkrade lies a park that really brings home the openness of the border region. The Horse Landscape Park was created as part of Euregionale 2008 and combines wide fields with historic farms, mills and small natural islands. As you walk along the paths, you will constantly discover new views and quiet corners that invite you to linger. Some stations highlight special features of the landscape, such as gentle hills or old rows of trees. The park is at its most charming when you take it slowly, consciously noticing the transitions between nature and the cultural landscape.
