Tagestour auf dem Enz- und Prüm-Radweg (Neuerburg-Irrel)

This cycle tour leads from the rugged and barren heights of the wild Islek through the fertile, open cultural landscapes of the Bitburger Gutland. Cyclists are accompanied by very different natural beauties on their tour, which takes them downstream along the Enz and Prüm cycle paths with almost no inclines: from shady forests and fragrant orchards to impressive hop fields around Holsthum. Here, where the famous Bitburger Siegel hops thrive, you can look over the shoulders of the hop farmers in the fields.Hop farmer Dick regularly offers guided tours of his farm or beer seminars - a visit to the farm shop with a wide range of regional delicacies is also recommended.

Tip:
Park your car in Irrel and take the Enztal cycle bus (line 423) to Neuerburg. There you can stop for refreshments at the "Bei Johann" restaurant before taking a short walk along the "Neuer-Burg-Weg" to the Schwarzbildchen pilgrimage site and then starting the tour on the Enz cycle path.
