Daniel, the son of parents from 1968, and Aylin, who grew up in a large Turkish family, want to get married. But instead of great love, there is great chaos. Suddenly, countless family members interfere in the planning of the dream wedding: with well-intentioned advice that Daniel in particular has not asked for. So he finds himself surrounded by coffee-talking aunts, parents who talk uninhibitedly about their sex lives and lots of tulle. After all, the 1,000-guest wedding in an industrial hall in Leverkusen is supposed to be romantic and unforgettable. When the wedding ceremony finally has to be postponed, it all comes down to the wire: can a great love survive this German-Turkish madness?
