With their new album, these three exceptional musicians celebrate not only music, but also life in all its diversity—with its idiosyncrasies, charming quirks, and quirky tics. For over 25 years, the trio has been demonstrating the potential of the recorder and shaping its own unique soundscape with its unmistakable woodwind rock. Powerful acoustic music meets subtle humor and tongue-in-cheek self-irony.

The musicians never cease to amaze with breathtaking sounds and surprising combinations. An Indian-British bhangra groove meets the “Knight Rider” theme, Carmen dances the boogie, and even “The Ketchup Song” unfolds unexpected musical qualities. Bruno Mars' “Locked out of Heaven” also shows new power in the Holzrock version. And Zartmann's surprise hit “Tau mich auf” also becomes the basis for funny and at the same time virtuoso improvisations.
