Düren bathing lake

The Düren bathing lake was created from a former open-cast mine and today shows how the landscape can be transformed. A wide sandy beach and expansive meadows frame the clear water, which is surrounded by forest and reeds. Walking along the shore, the view opens up to the Voreifel region, lending the lake a special tranquillity.
