Eva and Borchert: Encounter with two silent observers
In front of Frankenberg Castle, two figures stand, seemingly casually drawing you into their dialogue. Artist Karl Bobek created the sculpture group in 1978 and placed it in the context of his project Straße (Street). Eva and Borchert appear as if they have frozen a moment of their conversation, while you, as a passer-by, inevitably become part of the scene. Their silent presence lends the square a special atmosphere and invites you to interpret the relationship between the two. Between the historic castle backdrop and modern art, a place is created where the past and present quietly converse with each other.
