Eva and Borchard is an art project by Karl Bobek in front of Burg Frankenberg castle in Aachen.
The two cast-iron figures in front of the Burg Frankenberg castle have something unsettling about them. What is their relationship to one another? With this sculpture group, which was created in 1978, the passers-by and observers themselves become a part of the project. The artist Karl Bobek also created similar sculptures for other cities. Together, they were known as the “Street” project.
