Kunsthaus NRW Kornelimünster

Since 1976, the Kunsthaus NRW in the old imperial abbey of Kornelimünster has been presenting a panorama of what North Rhine-Westphalia has produced since the beginning of modernism. The historic building is quietly situated in the Inde Valley and lends a special depth to the changing exhibitions. Works from more than a hundred years of artistic development meet the silent walls of the former monastery here. The collection shows positions that make the change in forms of expression visible and at the same time open up a view of current trends. As you walk through the rooms, you are accompanied by a quiet dialogue between past and present that makes this place so unique.
