Schürenberg Kunsthandel

Among the old streets surrounding the cathedral, you will find Schürenberg Kunsthandel, a gallery that has been presenting 20th-century art since 1975 and is now in its second generation. The rooms have a calm and focused atmosphere, as if they were entirely dedicated to craftsmanship and clear forms. Art Nouveau and Art Deco form the historical core of the collection. Glassware, metalwork, lamps and furniture tell of a time when materials and design were closely linked. In addition, there are selected Murano glasses from the 1950s and 1960s and contemporary studio glasses, which give you an insight into the development of glass art over the decades.
