Vogelsang IP

Vogelsang IP is located in the Eifel National Park and is one of the most impressive sites of German contemporary history. The former Ordensburg castle from the 1930s has been completely preserved and is a reminder of the time when young men were trained here to become future leaders of the Nazi regime. After the war, the area was a restricted military zone for a long time. Today, it is an international venue that combines history, culture and nature. Open spaces, sweeping views over the Eifel hills and the clear lines of the architecture create an atmosphere that is conducive to both reflection and observation.
