Von-Halfern-Park

Von-Halfern Park is one of the green retreats in the south of Aachen. The park was designed in the style of an English garden and today features wide meadows, mighty trees and gentle paths that lead you into a peaceful landscape. Some of the old giant trees date back to the early history of the park and lend the grounds a special depth. In the past, there were even strawberry fields here, and later forest bowling and archery. Today, the park seems like a quiet transition between the city and the forest. The open structure invites you to let your gaze wander and take in the slight melancholy of the place, which echoes in its old paths and wide open spaces.
