Centaur – Man and Horse
While equestrian sports are being celebrated this summer with the World Equestrian Games in Aachen, the Ludwig Forum is presenting a film installation on a related theme. Under the title Centaur (a hybrid creature from Greek mythology combining a horse and a human), two short films will be shown on a large projection screen in the museum’s central exhibition hall, each exploring the theme of humans and horses in very different ways. They will be shown in a continuous loop and are accessible to all visitors during the museum’s regular opening hours.
