Klangfest

The music school transforms into an open sound space: At the Klangfest on Blücherplatz, visitors can look forward to a diverse day filled with music, socializing, and opportunities to get involved.

On several stages throughout the building, on the “sound island” in the courtyard, and in the nearby Depot, ensembles, choirs, orchestras, and bands from the music school—together with numerous partners—will present a varied program for all ages.

In addition to concerts and performances, the Klangfest expressly invites you to get involved yourself: through singing, dancing, improvising, conducting, or making music together. Many activities are intentionally designed to be open-ended, allowing for spontaneous encounters with music—to listen, try out, and discover.

The Klanginsel in the backyard becomes the festival’s central gathering place: featuring an open-air stage, an island kitchen, and space to linger. With the Klangfähre, even the journey between the Klanginsel and the Depot becomes a musical experience in itself.
