Altes Kurhaus Aachen
In the Old Spa House, you can feel the atmosphere of a time when Aachen was one of Europe's most popular fashionable spas. Between 1782 and 1786, the Neue Redoute was built according to plans by Jakob Couven to offer guests entertainment and social gatherings. Even back then, the building attracted people who were looking for music, company or simply a special place to be. Today, you will find a cultural meeting place whose rooms have retained their historical charm. The mixture of classicist architecture and lively use makes a visit here a silent dialogue between the past and the present.
The ballroom in the Old Spa House is accessible via a lift, while the Klangbrücke is accessed via a staircase with several steps. Please use the entrance at Kurhausstraße 2 for barrier-free access.
