Whether it's an in-house play, a big summer musical on the castle stage, a theater dinner on a historic estate or family plays in a wide variety of locations: DAS DA THEATER has been the place to go in Aachen for theater that combines lightness and depth since 1987. It tackles socially relevant topics and provides food for thought, but without a raised index finger and usually with a lot of humor. Music plays a major role in DAS DA. In the musical, the plays of the Junges Theater and other productions, all the singing is live. A band of professional musicians always plays during the summer musical. DAS DA THEATER is located in Aachen's northern district on the site of the old slaughterhouse. It is the largest professional private theater in the StädteRegion.
