Lousberg
The Lousberg rises at the northern edge of Aachen city centre and is one of those places where nature and history are closely intertwined. Since the early 19th century, the ridge has been landscaped into a park according to plans by Maximilian Friedrich Weyhe, and it remains a peaceful counterpoint to city life to this day. As you follow the path to the top, the view over the rooftops and alleys opens up again and again. Among the old trees, you will find traces of times gone by that show how much this place has been shaped by the citizens of Aachen. The Lousberg is a quiet piece of city history that welcomes you with its spacious atmosphere.
