Tritonenbrunnen - fountain

PDF

Fountain
The Tritonenbrunnen fountain is fed by the largest stream in Aachen, the Pau.
Originally created for the square in front of the railway station, the fountain, which is also known as the “Wassermann” (“water man”), was relocated to its current site in the middle of the Kaiser-Friedrich-Allee in 1923. From there, the water flows through conduits into the Hangeweiher pond. The fountain shows the Greek sea god Triton.
